Most romantic REM song?

With Valentines day nearly upon us, I thought I'd see what song you think is REM's most romantic, and why.

Personally I think Country Feedback is, in a very dark and regretful kind of way. Its almost like the darker side of romance which is rarely addressed. And also, it just rocks as a song.

I think At My Most Beautiful is the most romantic. Eyelash counting, I love you and all.... Stipey has said this is one of the few genuine love songs that REM has written.

Actually, come to think of it 'Love very rarely appears in an REM song title. Strange, when that's one of the biggest themes in popular music.

You have The One I Love, of course, but that's definately not about love. That's ironic. In fact, now I think harder, that's the only one with 'Love' in the title.

Dr. S is right though. Country Feedback has a far more interesting darker side of love - in true Southern rock style!

I think "Half a world away" is really romantic..
Also I guess in a weird way "I'll take the rain" is kind of romantic..maybe not really...

When it comes to romantic love songs by R.E.M., I would say that "Strange Currencies" describes very much what you feel like when in love;
While you got illusion still, before it comes to that "Binky The Doormat"-kinda feeling

Also "Crush with eyeliner is a somewhat neat love song, I guess

"I'll take the rain" is one of the few songs in this world that make me want to kill myself
The dog in the video is like some angel and I want him to take me along; but that may come with the fact that I used to see that video when I was stoned as hell
