WebRing is a collection of the best R.E.M. sites on the Web. R.E.M. Web makes it easy for internet users to navigate through the best R.E.M. web sites in the world. The R.E.M. WebRing is designed so that
R.E.M. fans can easily navigate through the best R.E.M. sites on
the web. As a result there are some guidelines that should be complied with
to guarantee acceptance into the R.E.M. WebRing.
Guidelines
All sites submitted must be solely related to R.E.M.
in content and design. If your site is not only about R.E.M. your site will
simply not be included in the ring.
The R.E.M. WebRing HTML code and logo must be included
on the main page of your site. This page should correspond to the URL that
is submitted when you apply to join. This is the only way that the integrity
of the web ring can be maintained.
Your site must be updated on a regular basis and contain no broken
images or dead links. No sites with broken images or dead links will be
included in the R.E.M. WebRing.
Your site must be easy to navigate through and must contain numerous
different pages about R.E.M.
Pages which take too long to load or are just too confusing will not
be accepted into the R.E.M. WebRing.
Your site should not be created for commercial
purposes. Sites that aim to promote sales of R.E.M. bootlegs (not
exchanges or trades), or R.E.M. tribute band recordings will not be included
in the webring.
